Andy Meier has over 20 years of successful branding, design and video experience across many business sectors, from blue chip brands (Qantas, Optus and more) to building successful companies from the ground up. Andy has worked both client and agency-side and has been running Strategic Minds Communications since 2006.
Andy understands that the marketing world is changing rapidly and evolves. He has been delivering high quality creative solutions consistently for both the not-for-profit and corporate sector. With a passion for creative communication and engaging storytelling, his vision is for the business to make ethical brands stronger, to use the power of video especially to move people into action. By operating as a values-driven company, Andy aims for Strategic Minds to work closely alongside like-minded clients who genuinely believe provide a product or service that enhances people lives.

As an accomplished Graphic Designer and Creative Director, Andy has also worked globally (South Africa, United Kingdom and Australia) in various design studios and advertising agencies. He has also worked internally for five years at Compassion, Australia’s fourth-largest charity, which has experienced significant growth over that period.
Andy has Produced and Directed several documentaries, and is an accomplished filmmaker in his own right. A number of documentaries and short films have been broadcast on the Australian Christian Channel and overseas TV networks, and Andy’s work has recently been nominated as ‘Official Selection’ and ‘Best Documentary’ at three international film festivals in the USA in 2016. Overseas filming experience includes numerous field trips including India (x3), Indonesia (x 2), Thailand, Kenya and the Solomon Islands with Compassion Australia and other not for profits.
